About The Clyde Donahue Character:

When I was expecting my first baby I came to really feel and believe in guardian angels as people from the past.

There was a photograph and that was kind of where the connection started and then I experienced a friendship. Which wasn’t really how I had thought of angels before.

So I think that was the experience that the character Clyde came from.

And as I reflect now that does closely mirror how Emmy connects with Clyde through his letter, a tangible piece of paper.
