Old West Days in Valentine
Old West Days is all about a feeling of going home.
Old West Days 2025 was the very first time I spoke about my novel in person, in public and marks the first time the novel was shown in person. My family loves to attend Old West Days and we were performing so I had an opportunity to set the books, stickers and vinyl mailers with the Dismal patterns on them out at the trade show with our music CD’s. The whole thing was quite a lot more intimidating and nerve wracking then I expected, both my voice and my hand shook a little. All part of the first time author’s journey I think and Old West Days was a wonderful place to take that first scary step.
If you are not familiar with Old West Days in Valentine, Nebraska I would highly recommend that you check them out. It’s a wonderful gathering in a beautiful place and worth coming back to again and again.
